Rob Smith
Owner
Rob has over 20 years of experience working with some of the largest players in the floor covering industry. He started his own business in 2012, and since then has opened the doors at RPS Carpet and Flooring Wholesalers in Baltimore, MD. RPS serves the needs of both residential homeowners and business customers, including many interior designers/decorators and property managers as well as home builders. Rob is proud of his family owned and run business, and is well known for his quality work and service in the community.
Robby Smith
Robby, Rob’s son, is a key player helping run the daily operations at RPS. You can find him helping customers on the sales floor, assisting in the warehouse or making deliveries. His knowledge comes from being around the flooring business his entire life.
Tim White
Sales
Tim started with RPS as an outside sales rep in 2015. He has more than 35 years in the flooring industry. He spent 28 of those years as a private installer, so he understands all aspects of the customer’s needs. He’s experienced in residential, commercial, and government projects.
Ashley Smith
Sales
Ashley, Rob’s daughter, is a valuable part of the RPS sales team. She brings top notch customer service skills to our counter sales department. Growing up around the flooring industry has played a major role in her success with RPS.
Vickie
Purchasing Manager and Sales
Vickie joined the family in the fall of 2016 as our business grew. She brings over 10 years of experience and knowledge in the flooring business. She happily provides sales support, financial support, and customer service.
Chris Wittig
Warehouse Staff
Chris Joined the RPS team in 2018. He assists Brian with the overall logistics of the warehouse. He plays a key role in running the whole operation.
Ron Harris
Warehouse Staff
Ron became a member of the team in 2019. Coming out of retirement, he jumps in and does whatever it takes to help the warehouse run smoothly. You will also see him as he delivers material to some of our top customers.

Matt became a member of the team in 2022. Coming out of retirement, he jumps in and does whatever it takes to help the warehouse run smoothly. You will also see him as he delivers material to some of our top customers.

Accounts Payable / Receivable Manager
Celeste keeps the financial side of the business flowing smoothly. She also keeps a close eye on the company’s inventory levels, making sure we always have everything in stock.
Rick Patton
Inside Sales and Showroom Manager
Rick Patton joined the RPS family recently and comes from a large retail operation with 29 years experience in the carpet and flooring business.

Counter Sales
Cindy joined the RPS team in 2020. She picked up the flooring lingo very quickly, as if she was in the business for years. She is bilingual and a huge asset for our team.
